Mark the second weekend in April to be in Chapel Hill for the annual Lettermen's Spring Reunion, which will coincide with the Tar Heels' annual Blue-White spring scrimmage.
The football game will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday in Kenan Stadium. Coach Butch Davis and his staff will divide the team into two teams and they will play four quarters. The game will mark the end of Carolina's 2011 spring practice, which will begin on Monday, March 16. "The Blue-White Game is an excellent opportunity to give our fans a glimpse of the future," said Davis, who welcomes back 12 starters from last year's eight-win team. "We will have several newcomers that will play an integral part in our team's success this year and the Spring Game is a chance for many of them to perform for the first time in front of our fans." The "Morris Mason Golf Tournament" will be held for Lettermen on Friday morning at Finley Golf Course, and a social and dinner will follow at 6 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Kenan Football Center. Saturday's pre-game BBQ will begin at 12:30 in a quad located by the Bell Tower. And for planning purposes next fall, the Lettermen's Day and Varsity Monogram Day will be held Sept. 17 when the Tar Heels play Virginia.
