Here are some links to items of interest to Tar Heel Lettermen during the lull between the regular season and the Nashville bowl game. Big news this week for former Tar Heel Kevin Wilson, who was named head coach at Indiana University. Wilson was born in Maiden, played at Maiden High and walked onto the Tar Heel program of coach Dick Crum, playing guard and center and earning letters in 1982-83. He earned a degree in math in 1984 and then worked as a graduate assistant under Randy Walker. Wilson later joined Walker as an assistant at Miami (Ohio) University. Madison Hedgecock had been sidelined recently with the New York Giants because of a hamstring injury.
